Easier said than done

Some things in this world are more fleeting than I’d like them to be. What can I do about it? Well, one valuable lesson that I learned from watching Disney’s Meet the Robinsons is that failure is a great thing, as long it provides the necessary fuel to boost your ass forward. I honestly don’t think that we, as human beings, like to make the same mistakes over and over again. Failure is a brash slap in the face; a much needed wake up call that tells you to get your shit together and work for a better tomorrow. As much as they hurt me, I revel in the fact that adversities nearly always render me a better, stronger person. Once upon a recent time I believed that sadness should not have a righteous place in this world…that people could be happy all the time as long as they constantly reconfigure their social/emotional wiring.
